The WARP ecosystem serves as a hub for the simple integration of new games into the blockchain space, including partner games that already run on Web 2.0 infrastructure.

WARP Game - Innovating through Web 2.5 Architecture to allow Users and Players from different chains to play together in real time!

When we first heard that players from different chains can meet and interact with each other in the WARP Game, we couldn’t believe it, we were curious how it was made possible, how it was done, so we spoke with the WARP Team and then it all made sense!

The WARP Development team has been working on one of the most innovative Multi Chain Architectures for GameFi and DeFi combined and it has its roots in Web 2.5.

So, what do Web 2.0, Web 3.0, and Web 2.5 actually mean, and why did WARP choose Web 2.5 as its architecture?

We have been told that users coming from various blockchains should be able to interact with one another in order to enjoy games and ecosystems. It helps community cohesion and brings players together under the same roof without any sort of exclusion or the need to use different channels of communication for each Blockchain. Blockspace may be the starting point for an ecosystem that coexists with and communicates with numerous blockchains at once.

Users can now be onboarded wherever they are thanks to this new paradigm and the increase of user flow from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 will only be aided by adding Web 2.0 techniques for user acquisition, audience expansion, and retention.

The golden rush to Web 3.0 had developers and project owners focusing too much on the Smart Contract and Blockchain aspect, which is in reality very important for the technical side of things, but somehow neglecting the Social aspects and Web 2.0 history of ‘everyone united under the same roof’ philosophy, which currently still has communities split into shards/unable to properly communicate with each other and even less so being able to play together.

WARP is fixing this by introducing their Web 2.5 Architecture and it’s by far the best we’ve seen so far!

Web 2.5 depicts a situation in which there is a time of transition between the two worlds. Web 3.0 is still a mystery to the mass market, and some people find it unsettling to feel as though they don't understand how to function within these blockchain ecosystems.

WARP has identified the need to leverage Web 2.0 to onboard new users in order to allay any potential fears about the decentralized, community-driven utopia that is Web3. For token and NFT purchases, WARP has worked with fiat onramp solutions to close the gap.

Scalability and Interoperability within the Ecosystem
WARP's unique design enables the Team to launch new games and features without having to install new smart contracts for every chain because the main ecosystem is on a centralized server. One of the great features of this implementation is the removal of Gas Fees for 99% of the operations done within the dApp and the Games.
Another outstanding innovation is how users will be able to come from whichever chains they chose to and deposit their funds directly into the dApp for example from Binance, and seamlessly being able to withdraw directly to Polygon without any use of external Bridges.

The WARP ecosystem serves as a hub for the simple integration of new games into the blockchain space, including partner games that already run on Web 2.0 infrastructure.

The interaction between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 Connecting Web3 assets, like NFTs and tokens, to Web2.0 payment methods is a great example of Web2.5. The best features of Web 2.5 are centralized exchanges or decentralized exchanges with onramp solutions, which enable people to exchange Web 3.0 assets using Web 2.0 infrastructure, like fiat money or credit cards.

The WARP Business Model
The WARP’s ecosystem is made up of two main components, Gaming Optimized Servers and Decentralized Blockchains.

The current Web 3.0 architecture as it stands is not game-friendly. There are no known characteristics that enable communication between resources on various chains that are appropriate for use in gaming. WARP sought to develop a system that would enable cross-chain communication between participants and even cross-chain Guilds. So, in order to accomplish the intended goal, the development team has constructed a special system using both Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 technology.

What is so special about WARP’s Web 2.5 Gaming?
In WARP games, players from Binance, Avalanche, Fantom, and Polygon can communicate with one another. Binance origin Starships, for instance, can compete with Avalanche origin Starships, and so on. Additionally, they can all compete against one another in the arcade-style battle royale, minigames, and blockchain games.

Players from different chains are able to bridge their tokens and spacecraft NFTs using this design. All of their progress is recorded in the metadata of their NFTs, allowing them to enter from one chain and exit to another chain (if desired).

Everything sounds good until now, but what about the Security of all things? The WARP Team is adamant on security matters, all technical and Token/NFT related logic is done on the Blockchain through Smart Contracts, users will not be hindered by this aspect as everything will function at lightning fast speeds, but behind all this innovative Web 2.5 architecture, there a serious layer of Blockchain security that will stand unbroken by any malicious intents or hack attempts.
